There will be a 3vs3 mini tournament held this weekend for the teams from A and B brackets. Dantski will be the host for it. I set up a forum for it here, so go check it out! We're going to have a bye week for everyone this weekend, due to 4th of July. The tournament will continue with DE2 during the weekend of 13-14th. DE1 went by smoothly, but unfortunately we had two forfeits. If someone has contacts to Goonsquad and Army, please inform them that they are not eliminated from the tournament yet. We might have a quick 3vs3 tournament for the teams that finished top8 in the QR however, so they wouldn't have two bye weeks in a row. The tournament would be held during this weekend and the registrations would be handled via dedicated forum. It all depends on whether someone is willing to oversee the tournament and be present when it's played. I myself will be away this weekend. If someone feels they are able to do this, please send me a message. More than one person would be better, since the tournament will happen in real time and will finish within 5 hours hopefully, like last year. The last qualifaction round is now over and we'll be starting the double elimination phase this weekend (28-29th). There were no forfeits at all during the QR, which makes this Mwc the first one to have no forfeits during the QR! The double elimination seeding will be different this year, due to the weighted pool system used in the QR. There was a poll about the different options in the forum and the method that gained most votes was the "Sports cup" system. The DE matchups will be going up shortly, once we get all the scores from the QR3 matches. Remember that no one is eliminated yet! There is also no bottom bracket yet at DE1 stage. Make sure you read the rules page to see how double elimination works. Basically you have to lose two matches in order to be eliminated from the tournament from now on. Roster changes are now also open. You can switch your teams freely untill friday. On Saturday, when the first DE1 matches are played the rosters are final.
